Get Crowd Control with Moderated Auditorium-Style Chat Event Support
Do you plan to provide your online community with access to visiting celebrities or guest speakers? Would you like to conduct distance learning forums where a teacher can address questions and comments from multiple individuals simultaneously? DigiChat's moderated chat function is all you need and more!
Moderated chat introduces a series of tools aimed at providing the site administrator with the ability to assign limited powers to discussion moderators and guest speakers. Discussion moderators control the pace and flow of the conversation while site visitors may only pose questions to the moderator (and private message amongst themselves), thereby shielding the Guest Speaker from unruly or repetitive questions or comments. The screenshots below provide a visual reference of how our moderated chat rooms work. Please contact a DigiChat Sales Representative for additional details or refer to our Sales FAQ.
This is the moderator interface. Questions posed by your site visitors are automatically placed in the moderated queue.
Once a moderator clicks on a question, he/she has the option to send the question back to the user, to all users or to the guest speaker. The moderator may also add a comment with any question that he/she forwards.
The Guest Speaker interface looks similar to the moderator interface with the same question queue. Clicking on any question (that was forwarded by the moderator), allows the Guest Speaker to answer that particular question and send that answer back into the room or to that individual user.
Our DigiChat Sales Representatives can personally take you through a demonstration on our moderated chat room. Schedule A Demo or call (770) 391-1530 today!
